Japanese sweets/gifts are always very nicely wrapped. Good presentation & marketing is the way to go!


Especially when gift-giving is a central part of the culture.


Other kinds of boxed gifts – fish!


Tsukemono. Something like vegie in vinegar. Awesome with rice, esp. for breakfast. YUMMM! xD


A lot of yummy-looking western deserts in the basement (food floor) of most (if not all) Jap shopping malls.


Yah.. Actually I bought this just for the ceramic cup. xD Japanese really pay attention to details! They also put an ice bag in there to keep the ideal temperature for the cake. @__@
