On my way to my work place in downtown every morning, I’ll always pass by this tiny cafe at the corner of a street right before getting on to the Granville Bridge. I’ve heard quite a few things about the place from my gourment/food-loving friends, esp. their Belgian waffles and their latte art. So I went there with Heidi and Linda after our Granville Island excursion for the day. I ordered a hot chocolate but there was also the “latte” art design on it. It was quite good! But the “Belgian” waffle was quite a disappointment. It’s nothing like the “real” Belgian waffles.. & it’s TINY. I didn’t think that was worth the 3 bucks. Anyway, the ambiance of the place is quite nice. A bit Bohemian I must say.
